EMC CX400磁阵安装手册
准备工作：
首先，确保你的笔记本具有一个标准串口，一个以太网接口，假设已分配172.16.1.201/255.255.0.0的IP地址（要求与你的主机在同一网段），一个光盘驱动器。假设你登录笔记本的管理员名称为administrator
安装IE6.0英文版
由于控制CX 400需要用到IE6.0英文版环境，首先请在你的笔记本上安装IE6.0英文版。
安装JRE 环境
由于控制CX 400需要用到Java程序，请在你的笔记本上安装JRE运行环境：
JAVARUNTIME ENVIRONMENT (J2RE)，STANDARD EDITION，VERSION
请确保JRE版本为
安装 Windows_ManagementServer_
请在CX400随机的软件中找到EMC Navisphare Manager v
安装程序提示Warning，不必理会，点击“确定”继续。
安装安装Windows_UIs_
安装完Windows_ManagementServer_
选择Full模式安装
安装安装NaviCLI_
安装完Windows_UIs_
选择临时文件目录：
如果临时目录不存在，则提示是否创建，点击“是”进行确定。
输入用户名和公司名称：
设置一个拨号连接 对CX400的初始化设置，需要用随机附带的串口电缆连接你的笔记本和CX400 SP的串口，按照以下步骤建立一个直接连接：
用户名为：clariion，密码为：clariion!。
最高速度设置为：115200bps。
确认选中TCP/IP协议，设置 完成后点击确定。
CX400硬件安装和连线
请参照CX400随机所附手册，首先安装SPS托架，随后安装SPS，接着安装CX400的托架，将CX400安装到机柜上。
根据CX400的安装手册，将电缆和连接线都安装正确，注意连线，如上图，红色部分为电源接线，绿色部分为SPS监测信号线，一头为RJ11，一头为串口，将此线从SPS连接至SPA相应的端口，这个端口处有一个电池状的标识。紫色部分为5类线，请将此接口连接到局域网中，与主机在同一个网段。图示黑色粗线为Console线，是一个两端都是母头的串口线，把它连接到你的笔记本电脑。蓝色叉的地方表示：此处不要连接任何电缆，在CX400中，SPS只有一个，连线方法请严格按照图示。
连接完以上线缆，请开启系统电源。
Power up the CX400 as follows:
Before applying power to a storage system, make sure all the disk module slots in each disk enclosure contain either disk or filler modules, for proper cooling and normal operation.
CAUTION: Do not power up a disk enclosure without at least one SP or LCC installed.
a. （如果有第二个扩展磁盘柜的话）Turn on the power to any DAE2 connected to the CX400.
b. Turn the CX400 power supply/cooling module switches to the on (I) position.
c. Turn the SPS power switch to the on position.
d. In the cabinet, set the main circuit breaker switches to the on position.
The CX400 and any connected DAE The only power switches on a DPE2 or DAE2 disk enclosure are those on the power supply, which are normally on. As a result, the units are always active.
When you initially apply ac power to a disk enclosure, the disk drives power up according to their specifications, and spin up in a specified sequence dictated by enclosure and loop id. The slot spin-up delays range from 0 to 84 seconds.
确保已经将Console线连接到CX400的串口和你的笔记本串口之间，从你的笔记本上，按照以下步骤建立连接到CX400的SPa：
Perform the following for SP A:
a. On the laptop, select Start ® Settings ® Network and Dial up Connections.
Select the connection name that you assigned when you set up dial-up networking. b. In the Connect to dialog box, log in as user clariion with password clariion!. Ignore the Domain field. Click Connect.
确保拨号已经成功，在dos命令中ping 192.168.1.1 可通 c. Open an Internet Explorer or Netscape browser, and enter the following URL:
192.168.1.1/setup d. In the Storage Processor Network Configuration setup screen that appears, enter the following for SP A, as you specified earlier:
· IP address
输入跟主机在同一个网段的，分配给SPa的IP地址，比如172.16.1.100 · Hostname
给SPa起一个容易记忆的名字，比如CX400_SPa · Subnet mask
输入该网段子网掩码 比如255.255.0.0 · Gateway address for SP A
输入网关，比如172.16.1.250 · Peer IP address for SP B
在这里输入同一个网段中，分配给SPb的IP地址，比如172.16.1.101 You must enter a unique address in this field. The peer address is often an increment of the first address. For example, if SP A has an IP address of · If you want, change the management port setting to 2162/2163. Otherwise, leave the management port setting on 80/443.
一般这里无须更改，保留默认端口号即可 CAUTION: Be sure that this is the management port you want to set it to. If you want to change it back later you must remove the node from its domain before you can change its port setting from the default. If you do change the management port setting, you will need to append the URL with :2162 whenever you want to manage the array. e. Click Apply Settings.
After about 30 seconds, a confirmation screen appears, listing the network configuration information you entered in the previous step. The confirmation screen also includes a message informing you that SP A is rebooting. 拔掉连接到SPa的串口线，连接到SPb
Perform the following for SP B:
f. On the laptop, select Start ® Settings ® Network and Dial up Connections.
Select the connection name that you assigned when you set up dial-up networking. g. In the Connect to dialog box, log in as user clariion with password clariion!. Ignore the Domain field. Click Connect.

拔掉SPb上的串口线，连接到SPa
拨号到SPa，方法见上，在浏览器内输入192.168.1.1/setup，移动鼠标针到Restart Management Server的地方，点击这一按钮。随后确认这一选择，
等待大约30-45秒,再次打开浏览器输入192.168.1.1/setup
点击如上图红色圈内“Set Privileged User”的按钮，在接下来的对话框内输入system@172.16.1.100，随即确认，之后会回到上一页，再次“Set Privileged User”，添加system@172.16.1.101，确认后又回到上一页，再次“Set Privileged User”，添加administrator@172.16.1.201，确认后关闭浏览器，断开到SPa的串口连接。 完成以上步骤，确保你的笔记本和SPa、SPb已经连接到同一个交换机或者HUB（处在同一个网段内，可以互相ping通）。打开一个浏览器，输入SPa的IP地址172.1.16.100，系统提示：
点击“Grant always”，接下来等待10几秒种，系统提示：
点击“Yes”，在接下来的对话框内输入一个超级用户名和密码，密码需要输入2次，我们设置为admin:flrcdma，这是一个登录CX400管理界面的目录，请务必保存在安全的地方。
确认所作的设置：
接下来系统提示：
点击“OK”接下来点击“File”―――“Login”
以刚才设置好的用户名和密码登录：
选中SPA，查看属性：
把SP的系统时间改为当前的时间并确认：
接下来设置系统的Memory：
按照读写缓存1:2的比例分配，read 76，76 write cache 161
随后打开系统的读写缓存，这对系统的性能有很大的提升，请务必确认已开启：
做完以上设置，请确保Raid划分和磁盘分配情况已经确认无误，接下来将按照这些配置需求对CX400作以设置。首先建立系统的Hotspare盘（并非必须，建议设置，如果CX400只采购了5个硬盘，则不必建立），右键点击CX400―――Create Raid Group
注意此时系统会默认选择第一块磁盘，点击“Manual”
于是我们得到了一个Raid Group：
随后在CX400上点击右键，在弹出菜单上选“Bind LUN”
点击图示的下拉三角，选中“Hot Spare”
如上操作以后我们将能看到如下图所示的Hot Spare盘
然后我们重新创建一个Raid Group
随后系统花一段时间来创建这个LUN，需要的时间可能会比较长，请等待。
